What Lions Club Does
Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. Our 1.4 million members serve locally and globally to help those in need.
Funds raised support many needs in the community. We do eye screening for the HeadStart Schools and local public schools. We are involved in the beautification of the local community. We also provide hearing aids for those who cannot afford them.
We support Hamilton Eye Institute, Leader Dog, White Cane, Lions Club Internation Foundation, Disaster Relief, Tim Tebow Foundation to stop human trafficking, and many other needs in our community.
Where there is a need, there is a Lion. We Serve!
Vision
We serve to prevent avoidable blindness and improve quality of life for people who are blind and visually impaired.
Environment
We serve to sustainably protect and restore our environment to improve the well-being of all communities.
Diabetes
We serve to reduce the prevalence of diabetes and improve quality of life for those diagnosed.
Hunger
We serve to ensure all community members have access to nutritious foods.
Childhood Cancer
Lions and Leos provide support for the needs of children and families affected by childhood cancer through impactful service activities.
You can’t get very far until you start doing something for somebody else.
– Melvin Jones, Founder, Lions Club International
Volunteer Today
We are always looking for new volunteers to add to our roster. We encourage volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to join us with supporting our local community initiatives.
Join our Cause
Our motto is “We Serve” and Lions put it into action every day. We’re caring men and women who come together to be the difference in our communities. We believe we can do so much more together than we can alone.
